220 Main Street was constructed in 1929. This building adds a splash of Art Deco style to Old Town, where it served as a grocery store for many years. The building is rumored to be haunted by a turn of the century spirit, which adds to its charm. Currently it is home to an artists’ cooperative called Gallery 220. Gallery 220 showcases the work of over 20 artists. Exhibits are always changing and include “Clay Creations,” ceramic renditions of Gulf Coast architectural styles and landmarks.
