Paul’s Pastry Shop has been a favorite of Mississippians since the 1970’s. Paul’s family originated the popular cream cheese filled Mardi Gras King’s cake, a filled pastry made by hand with all natural ingredients. Southern Living Magazine dubbed Paul’s Pastry Shop the “Pastry King.” You can choose from an assortment of flavors including Mississippi Mud and Berry Deluxe, but their original cream cheese filled king cakes are what made them a success.
