Century Hall was constructed in 1909 by the Woodsmen of the World Society. This grand building was a Bay St. Louis entertainment center through the 1940s. Trains brought in hundreds of weekenders from New Orleans to attend hotel balls on Saturday night. After Sunday services, crowds would gather at the Hall for plays and musical performances before returning home. Today, it features art galleries and retail shops.
