Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center

Our mission is to provide visual and performing arts education and cultural activities, to children and adults with special needs.

Merrimack Hall houses The Happy Headquarters, a visual and performing arts program for children, teens and adults with special needs. Our programs drastically improve the quality of life for people with special needs, as we work toward bringing the people we serve out of the shadows and into the life of our community.

The facility is now home to a 300-seat, state-of-the-art performance hall, a 3,000 square foot dance studio, and community spaces. Today, more than 500 people with special needs participate in Merrimack Hall’s Happy HeARTs Programs, which offers year-round arts education, social, and cultural opportunities to children, teens and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. A selection of public performances are offered annually, which serve as fundraisers for our organization.
