Lovelace Drug Store is a historic building that has been an institution in Ocean Springs since at least the late 1940’s. Citizens from Ocean Springs have many stories of growing up and meeting at the ice cream soda shop called Lovelace Drugs. Frequented by Elvis Presley, the soda fountain café originates from the 50s with Elvis memorabilia. Lovelace Drug Store is now a privately owned Drug Store, but while you tour the beautiful Historic City of Ocean Springs, you can still stop in for an authentic cream soda, sandwich and ice cream. You’ll appreciate the sense of nostalgia you get by a visit to this iconic downtown business.
Fun fact: Elvis Presley once shopped at Lovelace and they still have the soda fountain where you can get a Pink Lady.
