Red Creek is a 30 mile blackwater stream which forms near Lumberton in Lamar County and ends when it meets Black Creek near the Pascagoula River in Jackson County. There are 4 sections for paddlers and plenty of sandbars for camping and picnicking. The water has a red-hue which is caused by naturally-occurring tannins in the water.
